The Tridge is a cherished three-sided pedestrian bridge in the city of Midland, MI. These jigsaw puzzles commemorate this landmark as well as comment on how art has become a commodity. While many masterpieces are reproduced and placed on an assortment of products, these jigsaw puzzles were individually screenprinted and crafted, maintaining their original integrity. The packaging serves to attract locals, tourists, and collectors through its iconic mitten shape.
Rogue Wave Gig Poster

Rogue Wave is an indie rock band that performed at the Detroit venue The Magic Stick on July 20, 2010 while promoting the release of their album Permalight. This gig poster looks back on this event that took place five years prior, while reflecting on the upbeat, energetic melodies that seemingly transported the audience to another world.
The Metamorphosis

Using Franz Kafka’s The Metamorphosis as inspiration, this recto verso tapestry emphasizes inward and outward appearances. Similar to Gregor’s situation, the way someone physically looks may not always correlate to what is going on internally. By placing these images front to back, the action the viewer must take in order to get the full picture shows this disconnect.

Powerlines focuses on the internal struggle with finding a stable source of income. As the young bird starts its flight away from the others, it leaves behind a sense of security and familiarity, and heads towards a new adventure, full of uncertainty.
